Trump called racist AGAIN after tweeting campaign video featuring Mexican cop killer

  • Rep. Beto O'Rourke the Democratic candidate for Senate in Texas has raised $31 million from small donors

The video, which Trump tweeted late Wednesday, alleges without evidence that Democrats were responsible for allowing Bracamontes into the U.S. It comes amid a frenzy of hardline immigration proposals pushed out by Trump in the final stages of the campaign, including sending troops to the border and revoking birthright citizenship.

Luis Bracamontes, now on death row at San Quentin for killing a California sheriff's deputy and detective in 2014, is featured in the fearmongering video that critics are comparing to the notoriously racist "Wille Horton" ad attacking Michael Dukakis during his Democratic run for the presidency in 1988.

"President Trump's blatantly racist ad - showing an illegal immigrant boasting about killing police officers - is a fitting final pitch for a party and a campaign that are now almost entirely focused on whipping up xenophobia".

In the waning days before the midterm elections, Trump tweeted the 53-second ad that features Luis Bracamontes hurling profanities while on trial in Sacramento, Calif.

Stephens and Bertens march into semis
In the second game of the third set, a Stephens shot clipped the net cord and bounced to the other side of the court. Bertens regrouped and was on the brink of levelling it up at 40-0 in the 10th game but cracked under the pressure.

"The reason Trump will be here is he is nervous because his candidate might lose", Bernie Sanders, the former Democratic presidential candidate and independent senator for Vermont, told students at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

The expletive-filled video was immediately denounced by some Democrats and Republicans alike as racist. "This has been Donald Trump's playbook for so long".

"This is distracting, divisive Donald at his worst", said Tom Perez, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, while appearing on Cuomo Prime Time. With the rise of social media, campaigns and PACs that post ads on their social media accounts have brought a whole new grey area in town, according to experts.

There were some who supported Trump in sharing the ad, however.

Horton was a convicted murderer who committed rape while furloughed under a programme in MA where Democratic nominee Michael Dukakis was governor.

At that time, President George Bush had just begun his first term, and Bracamontes was again deported.

Then a segment from Fox News shows a correspondent interviewing a man identified only as "deported immigrant in caravan", who through a translator, requests to be pardoned for attempted murder.

"The Willie Horton ad gave George Herbert Walker Bush his one big black eye in history", said Brinkley.

President Obama will rally for Democrats in Florida this Friday
Trump is trying to energize his most loyal supporters as polls show Democrats in position to take control of the House. The political party numbers are broken down to: 1.29 million Republican voters and 1.23 million Democratic voters.
