ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed the deal, and reports Dallas will be sending a first round pick back to Oakland for Cooper.

We knew the 3-4 Dallas Cowboys were desperate following the divisional loss against the Washington Redskins on Sunday. The Raiders, clearly cratering at 1-5, didn't want to pay Cooper at the end of the season, and instead of playing out his fifth-year option, chose to move on and draft capital. After posting back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons to begin his tenure in Oakland, Cooper was only able to muster 680 yards and seven scores past year in 14 contests. Perhaps Cooper isn't everything the Cowboys need to make waves, but he could be a step in the right direction.

Saudi Arabia Says Khashoggi Killed in "Fistfight" Amid Mounting U.S. Pressure
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an absolute monarchy, and there are no significant checks on the crown prince's powers. The images contradict Saudi's admission on Saturday that the writer died inside the consulate during a "fistfight".

The 24-year-old Cooper - five years younger than Bryant - was placed in the concussion protocol after leaving Oakland's last game against Seattle on October 14.

Instead, Dallas tried to implement a receiver-by-committee approach that has resulted in the 29th ranked passing offense in the National Football League so far, averaging just 183 passing yards a game.

Category 5 Hurricane Willa Threatens Mexico’s Pacific Coast
Hurricane Willa, churning off central Mexico's Pacific coast, strengthened on Sunday night to a unsafe Category 4 storm, the U.S. While Willa is expected to weaken before making landfall, it may still pose major hazards.

To look at this another way, Cooper has totaled 960 yards and eight touchdowns over his last 20 games, spanning this season and last. With a 1-5 record and no signs for a turnaround this season, those picks will be crucial for the Raiders' rebuild before moving to Las Vegas in 2020.

It's not the first time Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones has made a big trade for a former top-10 pick at receiver, and the other two attempts didn't go well. He will get a chance to dive into the playbook this week as the Cowboys are on bye. Williams was drafted seventh overall by the Lions in 2004.
