Well, it finally happened - Kanye West's White House meeting with President Donald Trump took place in the Oval Office on Thursday, and it seems like their conversation was just as unusual as you might guess.

The conversation turned to West discussing the lack of support he received from his Hollywood cohorts with regards to his support of the president.

At one point a reporter asked Trump whether West could be a future presidential candidate.

In a almost 10-minute-long speech in the Oval Office, West said he was pressured not to wear his red "Make America Great Again" hat, and said he has felt pressure to be a Democrat because he is black.

"They tried to scare me, my friends, to not wear this hat, but this hat, it gives me power in a way", West said of the red MAGA hat he wore to the meeting.

While President Trump has approved of Kanye's continuing support (he called 'Ye a "smart cookie" during the meeting), Yeezy made some comments that would seemingly make a lot of his fans pretty upset.

'US appointing investigator on Saudi journalist untrue'
Rand Paul, another member of the committee, called for a halt on US arms sales to Saudi Arabia until Khashoggi is found alive. The Turkish newspaper also published the names, faces, and years of birth of each of the 15 intelligence team members.

Or to talk about his proposal to Trump that Apple could develop the "iPlane 1", a hydrogen-powered craft that would replace Air Force One? He allowed me to be invited to his territory, he treated us beautifully, and he shared some thoughts, and he will be open to talking when I get back to him.

A "smart cookie". Which is pretty underwhelming considering you've just branded yourself a insane motherfucker.

Taking questions from reporters, the rapper also voiced concern about stop-and-frisk policing.

However, during a White House meeting with President Trump earlier today (Oct. 11), the rapper claimed that particular diagnosis was actually incorrect.

Previously, Kanye's reality TV star wife Kim Kardashian has visited the White House to press, successfully, for Trump to grant clemency to Alice Johnson, a woman who was sentenced to life in prison for nonviolent drug crimes.

West has spoken out before about his bipolar disorder, but he told Trump on Thursday that was a misdiagnosis and that he is instead just sleep-deprived.

New Finance Minister Tito Mboweni clearly loves Twitter - and he's remarkably good at it for a "pensioner". It had received a battering under Mr Zuma's presidency.

When his monologue was finally finished, it was Trump's turn to say something.

"I love this guy right here", West said, walking behind the desk to hug the seated president, who said: "That's really nice".

"Listen, black folks are about to trade Kanye West in the racial draft", Setmayer said.

"The problem is illegal guns, not legal guns", West responded.

"I love this guy right here", the serial Grammy winning artist declared in the Oval Office, before taking the president in his arms.
