We know that the OnePlus 6T will have a notch - but not a big, unsightly one like on the Pixel 3 XL; a "waterdrop" style one instead - and we do know that it will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, which fans have been clamoring for.

The OnePlus 6T might also see a hike in price from the current-generation. Whether these will be the only ones available, or there will be more shades, is yet unknown. Lau, in a previous interview, had already confirmed that the upcoming flagship will not come with a headphone jack.

OnePlus's Carl Pei said previously that the decision to remove the jack has to do with adding new technology as well as improving battery life. Now, even though it is nearly impossible to tell the OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 6 apart in the images, we know that the OnePlus 6 is going to be marginally (0.45mm) thicker than the OnePlus 6 because of the fingerprint sensor that is going to be embedded under the screen.

Another thing that you'll notice the absence of a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone. So basically, OnePlus now joins Apple, Google and a few others in getting rid of the good old jack from its phone.

Kavanaugh has strenuously denied the claims, saying he was not even present at the party she alleges the assault took place. Mitchell helped create the first-ever sex-crimes protocol for the county attorney office's that was introduced past year .

Lau is aware of the potential backlash from customers who prefer wired headphones, but he's confident that Screen Unlock is worth it.

"After you experience the Screen Unlock you'll fall in love with it", he said. He adds that "You'll realise that it's the experience that you wanted".

Finally Lau revealed that like its predecessors, the OnePlus 6T will not have an IP water resistance rating. However, apart from that, he has confirmed that two more features will be missing from the OnePlus 6T - wireless charging support and IP rating. $550 is the rumored price or $21 more than the OnePlus 6.

He explained: "Screen Unlock technology is something very new and there's a definite cost required for that new technology".

While the Dash Charge offers up to 20W power output, Huawei is rumored to introduce the 15W wireless fast charging with the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro smartphones.

"We're working hard on this", the exec said.

OnePlus has advertised OnePlus 6 as water-resistant but never talked about any kind of IP certification. Excess heat generation would also have been a concern, Lau noted.

The OnePlus 6T is the successor to the OnePlus 6 and is expected to follow tradition by packing a litany of flagship features in a device that costs lower than all of its premium rivals.

Another noteworthy change in terms of the design of the OnePlus 6T is its new teardrop notched display.
