  • Avenatti Claims Evidence Of Kavanaugh Gang Rape & Drug Parties

A third woman has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct as a high schooler and was identified by her lawyer as Julie Swetnick.

Swetnick claims that Kavanaugh and Judge allegedly did so that the girls "could then be "gang raped" in a side room or bedroom by a "train" of numerous boys".

Kavanaugh had already been accused by Christine Blasey Ford of sexually assaulting her at a high school house party in the early 1980s when he was 17 and she was 15.

Kavanaugh flatly denied the allegations Wednesday in a statement released by the White House.

Latest reports revealed Brett Kavanaugh's third accuser Julie Swetnick had made a sexual harassment complaint against her former employer and was represented by the firm run by Debra Katz, whose current client is Christine Blasey Ford.

America had previously endorsed Kavanaugh, saying that "anyone who recognizes the humanity of the unborn should support the nomination of Judge Kavanaugh". In the affidavit, Swetnick claimed that she first met Kavanaugh "in approximately 1980-1981" and in the years 1981-1982 "became aware of efforts" by Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge to spike the punch with drugs or alcohol at the parties in order to knock down and gang rape girls. Ms. Swetnick doesn't allege that Judge Kavanaugh and Mr. Judge engaged in the rape but said they were "present" when she was victimized.

Swetnick's claims were released via affidavit to a Senate staffer by her lawyer, Michael Avenatti; see the documents, which she signed under penalty of perjury, below.

"Given the mounting allegations of sexual assault and misconduct against Brett Kavanaugh, the upcoming Senate Judiciary Committee hearings should be canceled, and Kavanaugh's nomination must be withdrawn. I want the American people to have those facts and judge for themselves", she said.

The allegations from three women have threatened to derail Kavanaugh's confirmation to the high court, a possibility that would deliver a major blow to Trump and Republicans heading into the midterm elections.

U.S., China hike tariffs as trade war intensifies
The targeted Chinese imports will face 10 percent tariffs through the end of the year, and then the rate will jump to 25 percent. China cancelled talks that were scheduled for this week, and is digging in by prepping stimulus measures to cushion the economy.

Avenatti is demanding that the FBI launch an investigation into Swetnick's allegations, adding that "under no circumstances should Brett Kavanaugh be confirmed absent a full and complete investigation". Swetnick has done something thus far that none of Kavanaugh's accusers have done and that is to provide a statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee under penalty of perjury.

After the alleged rape, Swetnick said she confided in at least two people about what had happened. Republicans plan to vote on Kavanaugh less than 24 hours later on Friday, though that could be postponed. She doesn't specify whether they took part.

She also alleges that Mr Kavanaugh was verbally abusive to women when he got drunk at parties, and grabbed and fondled them without their consent.

Avenatti and his client, however, want the FBI to investigate their claims.
