  • Tanushree Dutta opens about harassment

The latest in the list is Tanushree Dutta who underlined how actor Nana Patekar assaulted her in a movie set.

Tanushree said that that during the filming of her 2008 film Horn Ok Please, she was pushed and intimidated by Nana on the sets.

Corbyn would back members on second referendum
Mr McDonnell is set to reveal a raft of new economic measures in his speech to the Labour party conference on Monday afternoon. Labour MP David Lammy said: "This has been a long fight over many months, many years and I think we are getting somewhere".

He took to Facebook to express his disgust about this dark side of the industry and wrote, "Tanushree Dutta exposes Dark side of Bollywood again". She locked herself up in her vanity strictly refusing to come out and goons were called by producers to banged fists against her vanity. When Nana Patekar misbehaved with me, he voiced out that he would do an intimate step with me as well in the song, which wasn't mentioned in my contract.

A bold Tanushree says how leading ladies in films are roped in by the lead Hero and not casting director on the basis of sexual favors she can afford to do. Her bollywood film "Ashik Banaya Apne" with Imran Hasmi was a big hit. Further, her father even asked the producers to think over the situation before sitting on their vehicle to leave. In an interview with Zoom TV, Dutta accused senior actor Patekar of being habitually disrespectful towards women in the film industry. In the film industry, everybody knows that he is rude to women and has also beaten them on the sets.

ABC staff are rounding on ousted boss Michelle Guthrie
Mr Anderson stepped into the top job following the abrupt dismissal of Ms Guthrie yesterday, halfway through her five-year term. Deputy Labor leader Tanya Plibersek said she was perplexed by the decision and the board's statements had not clarified it.

Well, this sure is a shocking revelation about Nana Patekar, isn't it? The actor said she wants to spread a message through her story so that other women get encouraged to share their stories. She further calls acts of nobilities done by actors as a veil to hide their demon side. People with this kind of character speak like this against the kind of character that I have because they say she does glamourous roles so must be glamorous and all. "I was hurt and wounded, and I had to heal", she said. "Akshay Kumar has made few films with Nana Patekar in last eight years and Rajinikanth also recently worked with him (in Kaala)..." In a ZoomTV clip from 10 years ago, Tanushree is seen alluding to what happened on the set of Horn "OK" Pleassss. She questioned whether they have a sense of responsibility and respect, and whether the message they wanted to give their daughters was that it's okay if she gets harassed by a man, because the people in power will continue to work with him anyway. Rakesh Sarang, who now produces the TV show Crime Patrol, directed the film and he as well as several others seem to have been part of a cover-up that led to the incident going unreported.
