Musk described a slightly scaled-down 348-foot-tall rocket in September 2017 and announced that the private space company aimed to launch two cargo missions to Mars in 2022.

Elon Musk and SpaceX are hoping to leap forward in the race surrounding commercial space travel with a vessel that has the capacity for 100 people in 40 cabins.

The new SpaceX strategy is to still fly around the moon without landing, but use an even bigger rocket still in development that has its own dedicated passenger ship.

Our correspondent, Mary MacCarthy, joins us from Los Angeles. "But I didn't want such an experience by myself, i want to share these experiences with others".

Maezawa's moon flight is tentatively planned for 2023 aboard SpaceX's forthcoming Big Falcon Rocket spaceship, according to Reuters.

Security Council sanctions were imposed on Pyongyang in 2006 after its first nuclear test. In his opinion, the bulk of discussions will focus on military issues.

Yusaku Maezawa is a Japanese entrepreneur and art collector.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk announced Monday night that entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa would be the first private person to fly aboard its Big Falcon Rocket (BFR) launch vehicle.

Mr Maezawa said it had been his lifelong dream to go into space and that just thinking about the journey got his heart racing.

The 42-year-old Maezawa is one of Japan's most colorful executives and is a regular fixture in the country's gossipy weeklies with his collection of foreign and Japanese art, fast cars and celebrity girlfriend. While looking at one of Basquiat's paintings, Maezawa said, he came upon the idea to inspire other top artists to bring a space view down to Earth.

Maezawa announced on his Twitter and Instagram accounts that he plans to take a select group of artists with him on his trip around the moon saying: "I choose to go to the Moon, with artists", adding then "What will they see?"

Hurricane Florence 5 PM Wednesday Update
Flooding farther inland also a concern as Florence meanders over NC, SC, northern GA for several days. Apparently, the hurricane is just a few hundred miles away from the North Carolina's coastline.

Musk said SpaceX would conduct several uncrewed test launches of the BFR.

Maezawa declined to say how much he's paying for the flight, but Musk said it'll be free for the artists.

Who will fly with the mystery passenger is among the many questions that Musk is likely to address during the announcement.

It's worth remembering that even a rocket beginning integrated systems tests - expected to commence with BFR as early as late 2019 - can end up looking and being nearly nothing like the vehicle that ultimately rolls off the assembly line and launches real missions.

SpaceX's CEO is clearly chomping at the bit to reveal more information about the company's newest BFR iteration, hopefully now closing in on something close to what will actually enter production and begin flight testing.

Google is shutting down Inbox by March 2019
Google has announced that Gmail Offline will be removed from the Chrome Web Store in December, because it isn't needed anymore. Google has put together a transition guide for those finding themselves having to make the move back to Gmail.

SpaceX's Falcon and Dragon rocket programs both already deliver payloads into Earth's orbit. Last year, he said two paying tourists would circle the Moon in 2018, but those plans that did not materialize.
