HBO teases Game Of Thrones footage ahead of final season

Jon Snow and Sansa Stark. So, it's probably not best to hold your breath waiting for it.

The reunion will be welcomed by Thrones fans, as Sansa and Arya Stark both met up after seasons apart in the last batch of episodes.

Cable network HBO has revealed the first look from the highly anticipated final season of the popular TV series.

This means the show will qualify for the Emmy Awards in '19.

The deadline for the 2019 award show is May 31, which Bauer suggests the new series will not have aired in time to qualify for. Airing ahead of the hauntingly handsome Sharp Objects finale, the sizzle reel supposedly features our first glimpse at the fantasy epic's eighth season, but it was thrown in with a bunch of footage from Season 7.

After a successful 22 nominations in the 2018 Emmys, it seems likely, at this point, this would be the way HBO would want to go.
