James agrees to four-year, $154 million deal with Lakers

Despite being 33 years old and in his 15th National Basketball Association season, James played in all 82 regular-season games for the first time in his career, averaging 27.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 9.1 assists and 1.4 steals over 36.9 minutes per contest. He's also impressed with coach Brett Brown and the Sixers' state-of-the-art facility. However, sources have said that the Sixers are still in the hunt for trading for Leonard as well.
As the official opening of free agency draws closer there's a strong sense that James is leaning toward the Lakers.
The Lakers of course aren't the only team that would love to land James.
James isn't expected to drag his choice out over several days. The big man has taken to social media to help lure LeBron to Philly and make the 76ers seem at least a little bit more attractive to the highly sought-after free agent.
Declining the US$5 million option - the second year of a two-year, US$10 million deal Nowitzki inked last summer - will give the Mavericks more financial flexibility in the free-agent negotiating period. Are the Lakers now in the driver's seat to land the King? But the All-Star forward opted to stick with the Thunder and will sign a four-year deal when teams are permitted to finalize contracts on June 6. James is now eligible to sign a five-year supermax deal with the Cavaliers that would be worth $205 million over five seasons. But if they choose not to do that, there will be few options for employment for Cousins or other players on the market for more than the mid-level exception.
James became a free agent when he declined to pick up the one-year, $35.6 million option in his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and reportedly did not take any meetings with teams from around the league, as he did in the summer of 2010.
The Lakers have solid young talent in Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart, but not the usual coterie of stars who have joined James in the past.
"Hey Cleveland, is the basketball free agency mania triggering heartburn?" The terms were confirmed by a person familiar with the situation who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the deal can not become official until the league's offseason moratorium ends this week. He's the next superstar to follow in the legacy that Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant and Magic Johnson built for the Lakers.
It's entirely freaky, but it really does go to show what an enormous pull James has and just how huge a moment it would be should he decide to take his talents to the Lakers. The appeal of playing for one of the league's most storied teams is another allure.
But, he added, this process has created a more durable and "elegant" red sheen that's expected to last "for years to come". Its Project Red iPhones inject a sober yet striking look on the smartphone lineup and contribute to a noble cause as well.
ESPN reported earlier this month that the team had interest in keeping Love, regardless of what happens with James. The 5-foot-9 former Kentucky player averaged 7.8 points, 4.4 assists and 23.4 minutes in 71 games last season.
He went from an unheralded second-round draft pick out of Texas A&M in 2009 to become one of the best big men in the league. But they failed to agree on a deal and they'll now hope to conclude terms with him in free agency, which begins on Sunday.
We don't trust Argentina to shut out France , nor do we expect Les Bleus to deny the South Americans the goals they covet dearly. The former Benfica and Valencia midfielder is dealing with physical problems, and will be a game-time decision.
Mnangagwa told state broadcaster ZBC, without elaborating, that those responsible must have come from "outside Bulawayo". Twenty-three candidates have registered to contest the election and Mnangagwa has promised a free and fair vote.
The Clippers also will soon meet with guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who played for the Lakers last season, an executive said. Maxing out George will push the Thunder far over the luxury-tax line if they re-sign key reserve Jerami Grant .
Priyanka, Nick make couple entry at Ambani's party
But the one that has got everyone hooked to their mobile phones is Nita Ambani's elegant classical style dance performance. Now we just have to wait and watch if all those engagement rumours (for both of the couples, duh) are actually true.
Apple and Samsung end 7 year long patent battle
Samsung, predictably, didn't want to pay that much and now it appears the two companies have been able to come to an accord. Apple had alleged that Samsung violated its patents by copying the design of the iPhone .
