  • Porn actress Stormy Daniels during a recent appearance on ‘Saturday Night Live’ in New York

The documents released on Wednesday by a USA government ethics body do not specify the reason for the payments to lawyer Michael Cohen, who paid US$130,000 to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in the run-up to the 2016 election.

Cohen, Trump's longtime attorney and personal fixer, had his Manhattan office, home and hotel room raided by FBI agents last month as part of a criminal investigation launched by federal prosecutors in NY.

Trump said that he repaid a $130,000 payment that Cohen made to Clifford just days before the presidential election in 2016 and suggested that the payment by Cohen to the actress could not be considered a campaign contribution.

Daniels' attorney argues that the contract was invalid because Trump never signed it, and alleges that Cohen falsely accused her of lying.

Cohen is under investigation, in part over a $130,000 payment to Daniels in exchange for her silence about an alleged sexual encounter with Trump a decade ago.

They later spoke again outside a meeting in Mr Trump Tower in NY on 12 December 2016, where al-Rumaihi was part of a Qatari delegation that included Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed al-Thani, the Post reported.

The deputy attorney general is overseeing the Department of Justice investigation into whether Trump aides colluded with alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

A letter of intent had been signed by Trump's company for the project, according to The Washington Post, and reports indicated Cohen had even reached out to Putin's main spokesperson and aide, Dmitry Peskov, in order to move the deal along. It seems, however, that Farrow's source felt compelled to make the public aware that the payments to Cohen that have come to light over the past week are merely a fraction of the whole. Apol's letter was released with the Trump disclosures. Among his holdings, he took in $25 million from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

The prime minister while addressing in the NA asked the house to constitute a committee in this regard. He said Pervaiz Musharraf, Rehman Malik and others had also given such statements in the past.

Cohen spoke to him again at Trump Tower when the two men were outside the meeting between Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Thani and Flynn.

Later that week, the president said the newly hired Mr Giuliani needed time to "get his facts straight". The President reimbursed that over the period of several months.

Trump has denied the allegations of having any intimate relationship with the adult-film star, but recently acknowledged that he reimbursed Cohen for his payments.

The disclosure shows millions in 2017 income from rents, licences, book and television royalties, company shares, hotel management fees and golf courses, with interests from India to Dubai.
