Thousands of people have shown up for live music, panel discussions and special presentations highlighting Prince.

Two years after Prince's death, it has been determined that no criminal charges will be filed in his death and the investigation will be closed, ABC reports. The recording artist was found unresponsive in an elevator at Paisley Park, where he died at age 57. His doctor was also seen arriving to find rescue units already on the scene.

Don't eat romaine lettuce, CDC warns amid E. coli outbreak
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is urging residents to throw out all romaine lettuce amid an E.coli outbreak. People usually get sick from Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) 2-8 days (average of 3-4 days) after swallowing the germ.

"Therefore, without probable cause and no identified suspect, the Carver County Attorney's Office can not file any criminal charges involving the death of Prince".

Police said they found pills scattered all over his home, some in blankets and others mixed together in the same bottle. "In all likelyhood, Prince had no idea he was taking a counterfit pill that could kill him", said Carver County Attorney Mark Metz. The "Purple Rain" singer was under the impression that he was taking Vicodin but was actually taking counterfeit pills that were laced with fentanyl.

Prince had become addicted to opioids after dealing with chronic pain, but, notoriously private, he never got a prescription in his own name and instead obtained pain pills through associates, officials said.

Federal prosecutors and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration alleged Schulenberg, a family physician who saw Prince at least twice before he died, violated the Controlled Substances Act when he wrote a prescription in the name of someone else on April 14, 2016.

Prince's doctor fined for drug violations in singer's death
The singer, 57, died from an accidental overdose of the painkiller fentanyl, an opioid many times more powerful than heroin. He said there's no evidence any person associated with Prince knew he possessed any counterfeit pill containing fentanyl .

The settlement "is neither an admission of facts nor liability by Dr. Schulenberg", court records said.
