Toyota will build the hybrid version of its all-new 2019 RAV4 at a factory in Ontario beginning early next year, the automaker announced this week at the New York International Auto Show. In other words, Toyota is offering people a completely new model while its current RAV4 is already doing way better than best. It's sportier, more aggressive and much more modern-looking than the model it replaces, which Toyota will no doubt be hoping will help to keep it ahead of its rivals as the biggest-selling vehicle of its kind in the world for another year at least. All-wheel drive will be limited to gasoline-only models in Limited and Adventure trim levels. The hood is more muscular, the front grille larger, the headlights more imposing. Unlike with the Auris that was revealed at the Geneva motor show, we've also had a look at the interior of the new vehicle, which shows off an angular theme to the dashboard that was introduced with the smaller C-HR SUV. For this all-new second-generation model, the "iM" suffix is gone, and henceforth, this five-door will be known simply as the Corolla Hatchback. The "Dynamic Force" powertrains use an eight-speed automatic transmission or a CVT on the hybrid.

The 2019 Toyota RAV4 with hit dealerships by the end of the year with the hybrid versions coming out sometime next year. These two engines are also available in the new Toyota Camry, with the 2.5-litre naturally aspirated delivering 203 hp and the hybrid delivering a net system output of 208 hp.

At the New York Auto Show, Toyota has shown of the latest vehicles to gain CarPlay with 7- to 8-inch touchscreens as a standard feature.

Just like with the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback, Toyota is placing a greater emphasis on the driving experience with the 2019 RAV4. Also standard is Road Sign Assist, which sees certain types of road signs such as stop, speed, yield, and do not enter, and displays them on the multi-information display between the main gauges.

Snowed out: NASCAR moves Martinsville Cup race to Monday
In the past five races in Martinsville, Busch has five straight top-5 finishes, two wins and has led a total of 813 laps. Hamlin is a five-time victor at Martinsville and has finished outside the top-10 just six times in 24 career starts.

Engine-wise, the new family SUV will be sold with a petrol and a hybrid option.

Another ace up its sleeve is a Toyota-first dynamic torque vectoring system with rear driveline disconnect, which comes as standard on Limited and Adventure versions. While the Toyota RAV4 has come nowhere near the Indian market so far, in the USA, the company sold over 400,000 units of the SUV past year with a growth of 15 per cent.

#DeleteFacebook Gains Popularity with Elon Musk Deleting Tesla, SpaceX Pages from Facebook

On the safety front, the Toyota RAV4 comes with Toyota's Safety Sense, which includes features like forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and emergency braking, dynamic cruise control, lane departure warning with steering assist, and auto high beams.
