There aren't many athletes whose hair gets more attention than Tom Brady's.

In wake of the New England Patriots' Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, star quarterback Tom Brady has remained quite active off the field.

Brady wasn't the only high-profile member of MA society to donate his locks to the cause, either.

The "Saving By Shaving" event, at the offices of Granite Telecommunications in Quincy, Mass., raises awareness for pancreatic cancer research and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Local barbers and stylists donated their services for the event. Quincy Mayor Tom Koch also made a special quest appearance. According to TMZ, Brady shaving his head raised $7.5 million. His mom, Galynn, was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2016.

Brady says it was an honor to join the fun and support the great work of Dana-Farber. Thanks for the invite @coachhale5 (Rob Hale) and thank you @piniandco for the haircut!

Brady even went live on Instagram during his cut.
