Sony Xperia XZ2 design changes confirmed with new leak

According to Evan Blass, 5.7-inch Xperia XZ2 and the 5-inch Xperia XZ2 Compact have almost the same features. After sticking with their extremely exhausted old design language for so long (and suffering because of it) Sony have finally entered the full-screen world with the Xperia XZ2 smartphones.

The glossy back looks similar to HTC's U11 series and the Xperia XZ2 will come in black, silver, green, and pink. The camera setup is said to be the same as that seen on the XZ Premium, which means it will support 4K HDR recording and 1080p super-slow-motion capture.

Sony is expected to announce Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. With its modern design, the front side of the XZ2 will offer a larger screen-to-body ratio than any previous Xperia phone. They should both be water and dust-resistant as well, but only the XZ2 is tipped to support wireless charging and a "haptic feedback system that syncs up vibrations to the sound".

The XZ2 will get its juice from a 3180 mAh battery, while the XZ2 Compact will feature a 2870 mAh unit.
