Three people died Tuesday after a helicopter crashed into a home in Southern California, according to state authorities.

The woman said the residents of the home that was struck were at home, but were luckily in another part of the residence and were unharmed. "It didn't sound like an explosion, it sounded like a really deep thud".

"We tried to pry them out but we didn't want to touch them".
