Padmaavat First Day Collection, Huge Opening Despite Massive Protest

Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who are ecstatic about the release of their controversial film "Padmaavat", have sent out their love to the fans. Veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that the four-day collections have crossed Rs 56 crore.The film, according to reports, is made at a budget of almost Rs 180 crore. Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the Day 2 collection of the venture.

The film (with a rumoured budget of more than Rs. 150 crore) did not release in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and saw a limited release in U.P., Bihar and Haryana due to protests and violence.
